So I flew Singapore airlines on my holiday and it was freaking AWEEESOMEE and watched movies non stop from Philippines to Singapore and Singapore to Sydney. One movie that I thoroughly enjoyed and it genuinely suprised me was Bandslam starring Vanessa Hudgens and Aly both from Disney and Lisa Kudrow.
So many reasons as to why I did not watch it earlier but disappointed in myself that I allowed myself to be poorly influenced by shit sucky advertising. The advertisement for this movie as I recall was purely aimed at the Disney audience of tweens, however watching this movie - tweens or any age below for that matter would have no idea what this storyline is based on which is the origins of a particular genre of music.
shit advertisingHudgens I commend on attempting a new role as opposed to her usual teeny bopping high school singing sweet heart she portrays an emotionless individual who lost a passion for music. This movie has its shittier moments with some bad acting but amazing laugh out loud moments. Its got the love triangle and jocks and cheerleaders but its not as bad as it sounds...
3/5 (considering I never would have watched it in the first place)
Love you long time
