Well alot has happened since I was online – LOL here is a quick overview…
It was a long and heated debate happening last night while I was snoozing and I have to say reading these comments has kept me entertained just as much as me being advised to watch porn – (personal mention to i am not john)
getoveryourself: stop living out your own hypocrisy. you may be opinionated, but you're no gossip girl. be ashamed of yourself. you do the same thing most bloggers do, doesn't that make you a follower too?
1. I never claimed to be a gossip girl. I have never read a book of or watched a full episode of gossip girl. If that’s what you think I’m doing then you’re wrong.
2. Be ashamed of myself? For what reason?
3. Blogging makes me a follower? Yes it does, what I meant by the use of ‘follower’ is by following against what you are/believe in. I am not against blogging.
Hypocrite – n. a person who pretends to have higher standards or beliefs than is the case.
I am not pretending to have higher standards or beliefs than is the case. This is MY belief and as for having higher standards? My standards are no higher than your own.

Controversial..ish
OK. THIS IS FCUKING STUPID!
I just tried entering one of those radio comps where you call and you win tickets (no I'm not one of those bums who stay at home and listen all day to the radio to try and get them) I woke up and heard and thought hey? why not give it a shot?
So i waited for like 5 songs -.- and then Rihanna's Take A Bow came on and after it finished I called...
...no suprise the line was busy BUT THE WOMAN WHO WON!
SHE SOUNDS LIKE SHE COULD BE FREAKING IDK - 50?!?!?!?!?! OR something!
aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Yes I'm peeved off because I think that - I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut before I say anything else stupid.
ANYWAYS. ITS FREAKING HOT! And I'm supposed to be studying but seriously who CBF studying in this kind of weather although I have something else to discuss (suprise suprise)
The other night I was watching tv with mum and dad and then the news ad break thing came on mentioning the Muslim School that wanted to set up in Bankstown (correct me if I'm wrong) and the people in the community would not allow it based on the size of the school or something and saying that it wasn't based on racial or religious grounds. No offence - we're not THAT stupid!
Anyways.. I pitched a question to my dad because I'd been thinking about it for a long time... Why is the community so against the set up of this school? It's not as though you have to ASSOCIATE with these people?? You mind your business they mind their own.
My dad looked at me like I was from another planet.
He's like 'You're very naiive for an 18 year old' all I did was roll my eyes and stare at him LMAO - how mature of me.
He was giving me all these different examples but he still hadn't answered my question. So this argument/discussion went on for awhile but one thing that I clearly remember is him telling me about my aunty going to Saudi Arabia. I've heard this before but he said to me that everytime she goes there, the moment she steps of the plane she has to put the piece of cloth around her head because she's in their country. Now, when they come here - they're in OUR country so shouldn't they follow our way? It's just something I've been thinking about which sounds very reasonable and logical (in my head LOL).
I'm not going to go into anymore detail into the discussion but my dad managed to swing my 'naiive 18 year old idea' around and I could see where the community were coming from.
