BLONDEST THING I'VE DONE YET!
LOLLLLLLLLL THE BLONDEST THING IVE DONE YET HAS JUST HAPPENED TODAY!
ok so im walking through town hall with some friends and theres people in the centre
of the stores standing there trying to sign up people for american express..
i walk past one of the dudes and then he says 'Claudine!'
i turn around and look at him with shock horror =O
and im thinking to myself 'do i know you????'
i go ' yes..?' - very hesitantly mind you..
he goes 'we have a card here with your name on it' i was like :|
what in the world...
shows us a card (without my name on it but a blank one)
so he asks 'are you guys old enough to get a credit card'
- clearly im FREAKED OUT TO THE MAX AND SAY NO
hes like 'ok thanks anyways' and we walk off
my heart is beating ridiculously from shock and amazement at the fact that he knew my name and i have no idea how...
was he a mind reader? i wasn't even thinking of my name when he said it?! :S thinking this was some Criss Angel mind freak shit..
until 5 minutes later i placed my hand on my neck
and felt my necklace there...with my name on it -.-
the end ahahaha
no wonder why my cousin calls me blondey..
History has been made
THE 44TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS BARACK OBAMA!!!WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
The very first African American President OH how I love it!
It was a creed written into the founding documents that declared the destiny of a nation.
Yes we can.
It was whispered by slaves and abolitionists as they blazed a trail toward freedom.
Yes we can.
It was sung by immigrants as they struck out from distant shores and pioneers who pushed westward against an unforgiving wilderness.
Yes we can.
It was the call of workers who organized; women who reached for the ballots; a President who chose the moon as our new frontier; and a King who took us to the mountaintop and pointed the way to the Promised Land.
Yes we can to justice and equality.
Yes we can to opportunity and prosperity.
Yes we can heal this nation.
Yes we can repair this world.
Yes we can.
We know the battle ahead will be long, but always remember that no matter what obstacles stand in our way, nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for change.
We have been told we cannot do this by a chorus of cynics...they will only grow louder and more dissonant ........... We've been asked to pause for a reality check. We've been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope.
But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope.
Now the hopes of the little girl who goes to a crumbling school in Dillon are the same as the dreams of the boy who learns on the streets of LA; we will remember that there is something happening in America; that we are not as divided as our politics suggests; that we are one people; we are one nation; and together, we will begin the next great chapter in the American story with three words that will ring from coast to coast; from sea to shining sea --
Yes. We. Can.
Have you ever noticed the transformation of the acceptance of gay people in society more importantly in movies???
My Best Friends Wedding (George <3)

The Perfect Man (Lance - Carson Kressley)

and Sweet Home Alabama (Bobby Ray)

or like Sonjae said I could just put an endless list of filo movies LOL!
What has changed the society and the media's view on homosexuals? Have they become a majority so large they've influenced media into accepting them and thus media portraying them in movies and in effect the public have learnt to accept them??
But I guess this world will never
COMPLETELY accept everyone but hey - as if you don't love them?? I do :)
They're some of my favourite people ever - they show you how to live life - by not giving two shits what other people think!
And I think that is a very fun life :D
realisation?
So tonight (well technically last night as in friday night) I finally realised how much I relied on the net. I relied on it so much that it has become my sole connection to friends (other than my phone)
I felt frustrated and never the less quite alone - what a sad child lol!
I but yes you would think that the realisation of my dependence on the internet would trigger something in me to perhaps I dont know GET OUT MORE?!
And that was tried mind you being invited to hang out with friends and have fun - but no. My father does not understand the idea of my reliance on the internet and the company of my friends is what gets me through the night to have said yes instead of a Dr Phil NO.
So I sit here on my bed trying to figure out (ok lying down)wth is wrong with me only to realise that people in the past have been right to a degree that being an only child is lonesome...awww - pff! LMAO
Well anyways i'm hungry at the current moment so maybe i'll go and find something to eat?... or not lol
Love you long time - din
